Do you like games? Have you ever played a game, and then wanted to talk about it with others? Or perhaps you play a game of some sort and you want people to play with you. Whatever your situation, our Gaming forum has you covered!

The Gaming forum is one of the most active Discussion Halls, second only to Current Events. While most of the threads inside focus on video games, there is discussion to be had about board games too. Feel free to visit and check out all the threads, or perhaps just whatever interests you. If you don't see a thread for a game you want to talk about, make one! We're a friendly bunch, I promise. :D

Since I'm a nosy sort, and I wanted to know why others used the forum, I created a thread to beg ask people why they frequent the forum and what they like about it. Here are some of the myriad reasons our members visit. For full quotes, check out the begging inquiry thread linked above.

Now that I have to read them all, I'm enjoying it. Sure, there are still some that I only read to double-check (not that much actually needs moderating in this forum... https://www.tarvalon.net/images/smilies/look.gif) but there are others that catch my interest that I would never have looked at before.

I'm a gamer, but I've always felt hesitant to call myself that because I'm never sure I'm enough of one https://www.tarvalon.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I tend to play in spurts -- I'll spend a few weeks with most of my spare time on my PS4 or PC, and then just stop playing for a few months. Even so ,I love hearing about new games, and I really love watching people play.

I used to be fairly active in the Minecraft thread, but my interest in Minecraft comes and goes so I haven't been very active there recently. I also started up the "Name the Game" thread recently that challenges people to post a screenshot of a game they've played, and other people in the thread try to name what game it is. It's fun!

Personally, I tend to peek at every thread at least once, but only post in the threads for games I actively play. I'm currently stalking the Name the Game thread in a fit of pique because at least two of the teasers were games I knew but could not remember. :|

Come on by and join us in our gaming-geekery! Many thanks to Jeryn, Elania, Asandra, Zandera, Fraghin, and Mendo for indulging my request as well. :)
