General

Gyldan is probably an imaginary character. In Egwene's testing for Accepted, she is Black Ajah posing as a Red sister and is Elaida's closest confidante. She has dark eyes.

She is one of the thirteen members of the Black Ajah who want to turn Egwene to the Shadow using thirteen Myrddraal.

It is unclear, however, whether the testing is of any significance for Egwene's future.
