General
Karind Anshar is the High Seat of one of the nineteen houses powerful enough that they have a say in any Succession. She has a flat eyed stare (TFoH, Ch. 19) and is blocky (LoC, Ch. 1) and square faced. She is tough, but not intelligent (LoC, Ch. 1).
Timeline
- She opposes Morgase during the Succession when she came to power (TFoH, Ch. 19).
- She is present when Morgase confronts Gaebril about the Two Rivers (TFoH, Ch. 19).
- After Gaebril is deposed, she becomes one of Rand's sycophants (LoC, Ch. 1).
- She considers both Sarand and Arawn when they declare for the Lion Throne and are arrested by Dyelin (WH, prologue).
- She joins with Arymilla as soon as she captures Naean and Elenia (CoT, Ch. 15).
- She advocates attacking Caemlyn (KoD, Ch. 17).
- She pledges support to Trakand after Arymilla is captured (KoD, Ch. 33).
- She is present when the final houses pledge to Elayne (KoD, Ch. 35).
