General
Marendalar is a place in Seanchan where a battle during the Consolidation was fought. The rebellion lasted two years and caused thirty thousand dead. One hundred and fifty thousand men were shipped back to the mainland of Seanchan as da'covale property. Bakuun thinks to himself that he had missed the last battles of the Consolidation by two hundred years (TPoD, Ch. 22).
