How long have you been a member of TV.net?

I've been a member of TV.net since 2005.

How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?

I enjoyed my time as a citizen, as well as a junior member. I remember a prank that my first-sister Lireina and I played on the then-Captain, Riley...it consisted of decorating his office with a disco ball, a dance floor...and I'm not sure what else *lol* Suffice to say, our lovely MoN Neisa gave us a good punishment...I even have it written down somewhere around here *lol* Oh...a disco ball is really good at mesmerizing people...just saying  :look

When were you raised to Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah?

I was raised to Aes Sedai on March 19, 2010, at 9th Anni in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was AWESOME!  :D

Why did you choose Green?

I chose Green simply because I am Green. I demoted from Gray and went searching for my home after a great amount of deliberation. As I visited each ajah, I found pieces that fit...but not enough for me to stay. Once I visited Green, I knew I was home. Took me a long time to get there, but I finally found my home, and it's where I will stay.

Do you like to party, love men and are you a sucker for fashion and make up?

I enjoy getting together with friends and having a few drinks. Men are wonderful...I have a wonderful fiance, and many great male friends. I'm not much into fashion or makeup, though I've tried...I just don't possess that fashion gene  :p And it really doesn't bother me in the least *lol* As long as I more or less match, it's all good.

What things do you do for TV.net?

I've been a chat op for a couple of years now. I was the committee head for Awards for 9th Anni, as well as helping with awards, errands, and cooking for 8th Anni. I've served the Gray as sitter and heart before I demoted. I also have written articles for the Library, and I'm looking to do this again in the near future.

How did you get to read the Series?

I was walking through my local bookstore one day, searching for something new to read. I've always liked fantasy novels, and I happened to stop by a table with fantasy novels on it. The first three books of the WoT were sitting there, on sale, so I read the back of the first one, liked it, and decided to pick them up. I've been stuck on them ever since!

Who is your mentee, if you have one?

I've had 2 mentees - Noura, who was raised to White, and Aleita, who was raised to Green.

Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?

I still like Rand, and I've always enjoyed Mat. Perrin needs to get a bit more backbone for me to like him better. As for the ladies...Egwene has come a long way, and Cadsuane is simply divine! I'd like to swat Elayne a few times with a slipper though...:look

As for nations...I don't really have one, though I guess Saldea ranks up there, as well as Ebou Dar...strong women, who don't take crap from anyone  :D

Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)

I've attended Fall Ball 2005, Anni 2006, Fall Ball 2006, Anni 2008/09/10, so that makes 6 events so far! I love going to events! I get to meet those I have only talked to on the boards or in chat, catch up with old friends and family, and see different parts of the US and Canada. It reinforces why I enjoy this community so much...because it is a community.

As for why people should come to an event...it's simply a great time! Food, laughter, karaoke, drinks, PEOPLE!! You just gotta go!

What kind of music do you like?

I like rock and pop...though I'm not really up on the new music playing these days. I'm sorta stuck in the '80's *lol*

What are your favorite movies?

Ohhh...let's see...LoTR extended versions, Dogma, Stars Wars. Star Trek, The Abyss for some weird reason, Constantine for the same weird reason.

What job do you have?

Right now I'm a dental assistant for one of the dentists in my town. I'm also a casual employee of Canada Post.

Do you have a pet?

I have 3 cats - Lucy, Mouse and Mr. Moo Moo.

What languages do you speak?

Unfortunately, only English.

What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?

When I was growing up, I wanted to be a teacher...Laura Ingalls Wilder was my hero! Then my aunt talked me out of it...her son was a teacher, and it was rough going for him. I then decided I wanted to be a medical lab tech, but after I did some candystriping, I decided to be a nurse. Alas, it was a bad time for me to take a nursing course, so I ended up doing other things.

A short bio about yourself.

I'm the mom of 3 kids who keep me on my toes. I'm engaged to my best friend in the whole wide world, who's finally joined the site after attending 9th Anni with me. I live in a little town in Saskatchewan Canada...and it suits me just fine. I love to read, and watch movies, and make chocolate chip cookies! You can usually find me in chat, as I'm not a huge board poster. I love PM's, though I don't get many *lol*
