This article is a stub. A longer, more in depth article will be added at a later time.
The person who will stand directly below the Dark One and rule the world, commanding all others (LoC, Prologue). For the Forsaken, the prize of being Nae'blis is considered almost as great as that of imortality (LoC, Ch. 6) and one of their great worries is that he means to make Rand Nae'blis (LoC, Ch. 6). Sammael uses the bluff that he has been promised the title to bring Graendal under his control (LoC, Ch. 23), something Moridin considers very risky if not true (ACoS, Ch. 20). After his resurrection, Moridin is named Nae'blis and starts to take a firmer hand to control the other Forsaken (TPoD, Ch. 12).
