Niagen was one of the Brotherless with the Shaido taken as gai'shain by Sulin during the fall of Malden. Lacile told him of how Jhoradin and the others had been and went to his bed as she considered him kind. (TGS, Ch. 21) Alliandre thinks he will suit Lacile well (ToM, Ch. 43).
