Nieda Sidoro is the innkeeper of the Easing the Badger inn in Illian (TGH, Ch. 9). She is also one of Moiraine's agents (TDR, Ch. 44). She is a large round woman with her hair in a thick roll at the back of her neck (TDR, Ch. 42).

  • Moiraine arrives in Illian and stays at her Inn (TDR, Ch. 42).


Relationships

She has a nephew, Bili, who she employs as a guard (TDR, Ch. 42).

She is friendly with Bayle Domon (TGH, Ch. 9).

She is one of Moiraine's agents and has been for twelve years (TDR, Ch. 42; Ch. 44) .


Miscellaneous

  • She doesn't know what the name of the inn means (TGH, Ch. 9).
  • She claims that she was a fine dancer when she was younger (TDR, Ch. 42).
  • When the Gray Men are killed, she doesn't believe them to be Gray Men, or even Darkfriends, and has Bili dispose of them in the canal so as not to attract attention (TDR, Ch. 42).
  • Moiraine tells her to flee the city when she learns that Sammael rules there (TDR, Ch. 44).
