Raolin Darksbane was a male channeler who claimed to be the Dragon Reborn in 335 AB. He was the first false Dragon powerful enough for note (Book Glossary D; TWoRJTWoT, Ch. 32).
Miscellaneous
- Far Madding was called Aren Mador when he was born there (WH, Ch. 22).
- After he was captured, his followers attacked the White Tower in an attempt to rescue him (TSR, Ch. 22; LoC, Ch. 8).
- Ishamael tells Rand, Mat and Perrin in their dreams that they are going to be used by the Amyrlin Seat just like the false Dragons of history, including Raolin Darksbane, were used (TEotW, Ch. 14).
- Rand, Mat and Perrin tell others of their dreams and mention Raolin Darksbane (TEotW, Ch. 15; Ch. 42; Ch. 52).
- Rand tells Siuan that he is not going to be leashed like Darksbane and the other false Dragons (TGH, Ch. 8).
- Loial tells Perrin what he knows about the best-known false Dragons, mentioning Darksbane among them (LoC, Ch. 54).
