  • Why did you choose Brown?

Because it's where I felt most free to be me. I'm not like all my Sisters--I have no interest in tentacles or shapeshifter porn--but the men and women of Brown make me feel most at home. Cliche? Yup. Don't care. It's a cliche because it's the best reason to choose the community you will spend time with, anywhere in life.

  • Are you like the Browns in the books? Do you love books and have a tendency to daydream?

Yes. And yes, and yes.

  • Do you have a favorite Brown Ajah character from the novels?

Is this even a question?

  • How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?

Well Crown of Swords was the latest, so sometime between 1996 and 1998.

  • How did you first get into the series?

  • Who is your favorite "hero"?

Mat or Lan

  • Favorite bad guy/gal?

Graendel. She's the shiznit yo.

  • Favorite book and scene?

Off the top of my head I think "Knife of Dreams" and the scene between Egwene and Verin.

  • If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?

random misc townsperson, just like I am now. But if I have to pick a main character I'm totally Nynaeve.

  • How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?

I was curious after watching Big Bang Theory: there are Cons for other stuff, is there a Con for fantasy lit? Found JordanCon and DragonCon and on one of the websites I read about DragonMount and TV.net. Tried both, loved TV, stayed. Oh and why I stayed: the people.

  • What do you do in "real life"?

[Redacted]

  • Do you have any hobbies?

Music, reading (duh), and theatre.

  • What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?

Mostly musical theatre and radio alternative/rock/pop, some country, Celtic, r&b, electronic, opera, classical, movie soundtracks, & 60s folk rock.

  • What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?

Princess Bride, Lawrence of Arabia, romantic comedies... Psych, Chuck, Big Bang Theory, West Wing, Once Upon a Time, and recently, Mixology.

  • Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?

Jane Eyre, Phantom of the Opera, anything by Weis & Hickman, Malazan (still slowly reading it), and. Dunno. Books.

  • What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
