Shol Arbela is the capital city of Arafel, located in the northern part of the country (TWoRJTWoT). It is one of the great cities of the world that was not built by Ogier (LoC, Ch. 20).
Another name for Shol Arbela is "the City of Ten Thousand Bells". Noal Charin tells stories to his companions about the city (KoD, Ch. 9).
