Social Media 101: Part 1 - The Team

There has been a lot of discussion about social media and our impact on the community around us. A lot of great ideas are flying around, and we are here to share with you a lot of what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.. Here are some of the milestones we’ve hit since January 1, 2021; which showcases the different areas of expertise and hard work put in everyday by our team. #TeamMarketing

The Social Media Team is responsible for overall user engagement, questions, comments, DMs/PMs and concerns across our various different platforms. The team checks every channel daily to make sure we address comments and questions, interact with posters and share interesting posts from our fellow WoTies.

PINTEREST CHANNEL MANAGER – Owena al'Saturni

Owena creates and re-pins content. She maintains the board for books, hobbies, activities, trivia, costumes, membership events and so much more. You can visit our pinterest channel by following this link.

TWITTER CHANNEL MANAGER – Dreia Raieese and Lilli O'Neeus

We have two channel managers on Twitter — Dreia who shares new content, and our veteran superstar Lilli who retweets everything ASAP.

INSTAGRAM CHANNEL MANAGER – Kethaana Nia Khamara

Nia brought a new breath of life to Instagram and has already made an enormous impact. Her bag of tricks has included Community-related content, stories and highlights Increased hashtagging. Publishing Stories Increased interaction through feed posts and in stories TVT content Throwbacks

FACEBOOK CHANNEL MANAGER – Ne'Mireth Delvar TVT articles posts using publishing tools – Nymala Ingasy Weekly pre-scheduled posts Ne’Mireth Delvar

This team takes care of our Facebook pages, both the internal members-only page and the public page that is open to anyone. This involves scheduling posts, as well as posting our TVT articles when they are published. Like and follow our Facebook page here.

TikTok (More Coming Soon!) CHANNEL MANAGER: Khaona al'Corriyi Team Member – Atane Valthon

We brought on a new channel manager for TikTok – none other than the unbelievable virtuoso Khoana. She already makes amazing, fun, hilarious Tiktoks about the Wheel of Time, and she does a mean Nyneave impersonation!

The other member of the team – Atane – is full of awesome ideas and is ready to jump in with both feet. We have a team, we developed a strategy, aligned content with the re-read and are launching new content in the new Channel to attract new members.

As our newest team, they are still ironing out a few strategy points, but we hope to be up and running in the next few months. Hang on tight and watch out for Khoana’s hilarious new content.

DISCORD – Events/Announcements CHANNEL MANAGER: Atane Valthon

Atane is also responsible for keeping an eye on the site announcements on Discord and on the Site, to share information about raisings, bonds, etc.; and create event posts as needed. (Apart from TVT posts, which are posted by our Editor-in-Chief.)

SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER: Ne'Mireth Delvar

Anything to do with site-wide events, such as merits, Bel Tine, The Great Charity Hunt (including Hero of the Horn), TVT Takeovers, themed days and many more All TVT article requests from the Social Media team Content alignment Social media marketing calendar Departments liaison Forum management Ideation and content management
