November has been an exciting month at TarValon.Net. We saw the conclusion of Shaoman, with our members testing their deductive and puzzle solving skills in a range of fun activities. Who knew it was the Amyrlin Seat all along…?

The very first Tar Valon Times Takeover graced our screens courtesy of our hardworking Citizens and Mayor. Thank you all for sharing your takeover with us! Check out the recent posts for their wonderful contributions.

• The Great Charity Hunt, a Department of Community Outreach initiative launched! The community of TarValon.Net can get involved and help out as true Servants of All. Keep an eye out in December for the reveal of our members featured causes.

• The Winners from Shaoman 2020 were announced. The Brown Ajah won Best Group Theme, the Junior Members (Novices, Recruits, Accepted and Soldiers) won the Group Cryptic Challenge, Alenya Al'Roran won the Word Wheels, Scavenger Hunt and Writing Contest, and Tallan Daar, Emerald ní Róhan, Leira Galene and Alenya Al'Roran all solved every Logic Puzzle.

• It is no surprise that Alenya Al'Roran was also awarded The Spirit of Shaoman. Our congratulations and thanks go to Cinna Vrammar as The Rockstar of Shaoman, the OAT who truly went above and beyond.

• We also have many members who participated in NaNoWriMo 2020. We wish them all the best of luck in their future literary endeavours. Check out the thread in Fine Arts & Literary Pursuits for more information.

Our congratulations go to a new Company Commander and the members of the Fall Session of The Hall of the Tower. We thank you all for your time and service to these important positions.

• Venric Methalion was chosen as the new Company Commander of Mahdi’in d’ma Dieb.

• The Hall of the Tower for Fall was announced. The Hall is responsible for voting on all membership advancement from Citizen to Senior Member as well as providing advice to the Officers and Directors on membership and philanthropic matters.

TarValon.Net gained one new citizen this month. Congratulations Idril Alfauro, we hope that you enjoy your time in the City. It has also been a very exciting time in the Tower with three new members being summoned to the Tower, and one member being raised to Accepted. We wish them all the best for their journeys in the Tower.

• Atane Valthon joined the Tower as a Recruit.
  
• Brynden Blackfyre joined the Tower as a Novice.
  
• Ael Nisrathe joined the Tower as a Recruit.
  
• Lyndo Shiranui was raised to Accepted of the Tower.
  

We saw two new Bonds, created by the Light. These members have chosen to be bound to one and other, in their fight against the Shadow. Our congratulations to you all!

• Siera al'Cere of the Gray Ajah and Madhar al'Thera of the Val'Cueran Company were Bonded by the Light.
  
• Idine Espanyas of the Yellow Ajah and Dreia Raieese of the Val'Cueran Company were Bonded by the Light.

November was a big month for hiring at TarValon.Net with a total of six positions open for applications. The positions of Headteacher, Outreach Activities Coordinator, Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times and Survey Project Manager are still open for those interested in applying.

• Mayor of TarValon.Net, the caretaker of our Citizens and New Members – Applications closed November 16, 2020.

• Headteacher of TarValon.Net, responsible for The Classroom – Applications close November 30, 2020.

• Awards Historian, responsible for maintaining all Awards related areas of TarValon.Net (including but not limited to Merit Badges, Amyrlin's Awards, Keeper's Awards and Members' Choice Awards) – Applications closed November 25, 2020.

• Outreach Activities Coordinator, responsible for running the Outreach Activities Team, the curation of Bel Tine and Shaoman as well as promotion of philanthropic and charitable endeavours – Applications close December 1, 2020.

• Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times, a member of the Tar Valon Times Staff who assists the Editor in their duties as well as archiving the Tar Valon Times to the TarValon.Net Library – Applications close December 1, 2020.

• Survey Project Manager, who is responsible for the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of the annual Membership Survey and management of the Survey Team – Applications close December 15, 2020.

We would like to say thank you to Jahily al'Karee for her dedicated service as Mayor to the citizens of TarValon.Net, Dovienya el'Korim for taking wonderful care of The Classroom as Headmistress, Kyla Sterling for her many years as Assistant Editor of the Tar Valon Times, Elanda Tonil for her time as Survey Project Manager and Ilverin Matriam for her time and service as Awards Historian and Outreach Activities Coordinator. Best of luck to all those who applied, we thank you for your interest in serving our community!

There are many exciting things to look forward to in December. The second edition of the Tar Valon Times Takeover – Gray Ajah Edition will be coming to you in the first week of December. We also have an exciting two weekend event on the TarValon.Net Discord (keep an eye out for an announcement soon), as well as our annual Feast of Lights celebration when we will learn more about The Great Charity Hunt and the causes our members have chosen to support.
