General

The Star is an inn in Tear. It is built of wood and is four storeys tall with windows in the roof also. It is situated between a weaver's shop and a smithy. The innkeeper is a man named Jurah Haret who wears the deep blue coat that all Tairen innkeepers wear. It has one private dining room which has a fireplace and a black oak table and overlooks the street.

Moiraine, Lan, Perrin, Loial and Faile stay at the inn when they follow Rand to Tear. Two of the Black Ajah leave a hedgehog ter'angreal in the private dining room as a trap for Moiraine, but Faile triggers it. Moiraine and Lan leave to try deal with Be'lal and Perrin tries to rescue Faile from Tel'aran'rhiod.
