The major events at TarValon.Net in 2020.

General

2020 saw a shift in Tar Valon leadership, with two new Officers taking up jobs. Serinia Edoras was sworn in as the new Amyrlin Seat and Mieriana Souvra as new Keeper in April.

The Department of Moderators and Operators was disbanded as of the Fall 2020 Executive Meeting.

No Maintaining the Tower fundraiser was held in 2020 due to the global hardship of dealing with COVID-19.

Staff

In a virtual ceremony in April, during the weekend TarValon.Net's 19th Anniversary Party was originally scheduled to take place, Rhed al'Tere stepped down as Amyrlin Seat, and Serinia Edoras was raised to the position. At the same time Lireina Dormerus t'al`Bearach stepped down as Keeper, and was replaced by Mieriana Souvra.

Tallan Daar resigned as Director of Research and Records in April, and was replaced by Atarah al'Norahn. Atarah in her turn stepped down as Director in October, and was succeeded by Ilverin Matriam. Earlier in the year, in May, Erin al'Denael replaced Elia LePhant as Director of Community Outreach.
