Vilnar Barada is an Underlieutenant in the Saldaean army. He is sword-sworn to Davram Bashere. Vilnar has black hair and a black beard. He has a bold nose and tilted eyes.
Vilnar was patrolling Caemlyn when Perrin and the Two Rivers army approached Caemlyn. He led Perrin and Faile to the Royal Palace.
Vilnar wants to marry Teryane, a merchant's daughter from Mehar, Saldaea.
Vilnar is an accomplished rider.
Vilnar is afraid of Deira Bashere.
Vilnar has always wanted to see an Aes Sedai and thinks he knows how to recognize one.
