Vram Torkumen is a Saldaean noble who refused to let Rodel Ituralde and his men into Maradon (ToM, Ch. 24). When Rand destroys the Trolloc horde, he is unable to cope with the light and puts his eyes out, asking the Dark One for his protection (ToM, Ch. 32). He is a cousin of the queen and has always been a favorite of hers (ToM, Ch. 32).
During Rand's battle with the Shadowspawn outside of Maradon Vram takes his eyes out with a quill. He talks about how the light is too bright and asks the Dark Lord for his protection, proving himself a Darkfriend. At the same time his wife jumped to her death out of the window (ToM, Ch. 32).
