Assembled from various White Aes Sedai's words by Myralin al'Ser, Aes Sedai of the White Ajah

"...Whites consider the questions of truth with implacable logic." (TDR, Ch. 23) In the Wheel of Time Series, the White Ajah is solely devoted to questions of philosophy and truth, while shunning the world and the value of worldly knowledge. This stereotype is a difficult one to overcome -- that of a cold and unfeeling woman who sees only the absolute. However, real life is never so divided as Robert Jordan made the Ajahs to be. We aren't lacking emotion but we know when to bring it out. We know when to hug and cry... we also know when to say "this too shall pass." When the world is hard, the Whites can bend and like the phoenix... rise up after the fire as strong and beautiful as before.

Whites prefer to take the world as it is, not as we wish it to be, and/or not as other people might wish to present it to us. We'd rather see what's real than settle for what looks pleasant. Each of us has our logic coming from a different background. We've all been tempered in the fires of life. There's freedom in White. We're accepting of others' differences and we have little drama here.

Like the color spectrum, White has a bit of every color in it... it's wise enough to be all colors when it has to be or reflect the color it's most near. It's an independent color that is bold and strong on it's own but compliments all other colors. Whites have our prism metaphor, with all of us shining all our colors into the prism of Truth/Logic and coming out White Light of Awesome. Only together can we be White.
