Zeram is a boot maker in Far Madding; his shop is on Blue Carp Street just above the Illian Gate (WH, Ch. 32).
His shop is three stories tall plus an attic; there are no windows in his shop except in the front (WH: 33).
Zeram is not a suspicious man (WH, Ch. 33). He is married to Milsa and all of his children are married (WH, Ch. 33). He does steady business (WH, Ch. 33).
