Laila is the wife of Perrin Aybara. She works in a forge and is strong enough to wield a hammer, even in self defence. She has the habit of holding Perrin's pinky finger, when showing her affection.
Appearance
Laila is a young woman with long blonde hair. She wears her hair in a braid. She has multiple earrings on her left year. She also has almost healed scars on her arms.

In Episode 1 Laila is working at the forge the day of Egwene's initiation ceremony. Laila did not attend that ceremony or the celebration after it.
On the night of Bel Tine, Laila is with Perrin by the river, where the village's tradition is to light a candle and let it flow downriver inside a paper lantern. Later she dances with Perrin and the rest of the villagers. After the Trollocs attack, Laila and Perrin hide inside the forge and there are also other villagers there with them.
