Elayne's Point of View:
Location: Along the bank of the Alguenya
Characters: Elayne, Davram Bashere
Elayne and Bashere look down at the Alguenya river. The discuss the trap that they walked into. Scouts spotted a Trolloc army coming from the north and heading to Cairhien; a city now filled with refugees.
Egwene's Point of View:
Setting: Kandor
Characters: Egwene, Amys, Bair, Gawyn, Melaine, Rand
Egwene enters Tel'aran'rhiod. She meets with the Wise Ones in the Heart of the Stone. She overhears them discussingMelaine seeing through the eyes of her descendents on her third visit to Rhuidean as Aviendha did.
