Ashin is a man who works as a servant in Barthanes Damodred's manor. He carries a long staff.
When they reach Barthanes Damodred's manor, Ashin is instructed to lead Rand, Verin, Ingtar, and Loial to a room filled with nobles. He raps his staff and announces them, Verin first.
