Elricain Tavolin is an officer in the Cairhienin army. His banner is a field of blue crossed by two white bars (TGH, Ch. 21).
Caldevwin gives him the command over fifty soldiers to escort Rand, Hurin, and Loial to Cairhien (TGH, Ch. 21).
They arrive at the gates of Cairhien where Tavolin gives the tower guard their names and then parts from them (TGH, Ch. 25).
