Elayne, Birgitte and Aviendha walking to Elayne's apartments. On their way they gather up Reene Harfor, who suggests, like almost everyone they encounter, that they get out of their wet things. As a more important matter, she tells Elayne that the mercenary captains are waiting for a meeting with her.
