The Company Philosophy (Speak now or forever hold your peace)

Alright boys, here is what I wrote for our philosophy. It is longer than the other company philosophies, but I think we have more depth to us anyways.

I'm only keeping this here for a week before it becomes official. If you don't like something in it, you better tell me before then.

The Dai M'Hael are the brains of the White Tower. The San D'Ma Shadar are the Tower's brawn. The Val'Cueran are its beating heart. Yet without the men of Mahdi'in d'ma Dieb, the spirit of Tar Valon, it would be easy to lose an important element of the men who reside here.

Fiercely independent, the Seekers of the Wind are thus called because of their carefree attitude, and the need they have to roam. Just as you could not chain the wind, nor could you easily hold a member of Mahdi'in d'ma Dieb. We appreciate the importance of planning, loyalty and strength of purpose, we just don't adhere to those particular philosophies, preferring to roll with the punches.

A Gaidin of the MDD realizes that caution and proper planning can only take one so far before a risk needs to be taken. A warrior of MDD has the spirit and resolution to make that leap and trust his own skills to see him through to the end. He is able to quickly see the different options presented before him and, hopefully, choose the best path just as rapidly. Despite his best efforts and guesses, much rests on his luck and use of unconventional methods to see him through.

We are the most solitary of the companies, with a sardonic outlook that may sometimes make it seem as if we do not care. Our men are not easily controlled, and any Aes Sedai bonded to us would find she has her hands full. Yet as independent as we may be, when you need the Mahdi'in d'ma Dieb the most, they will be there.
