General

Maerion was a name that Birgitte Silverbow was known by in one of her past lives ( TFoH, Ch. 36).

While Birgitte, Elayne and Nynaeve are traveling with Valan Luca's circus, Birgitte goes by the name of Maerion ( TFoH, Ch. 36).

Birgitte tells Elayne that she does not know if she can live up to being "Birgitte", a woman of legend, in the real world; in all of her other lives, she just did what she had to do, and it was enough for Maerion, or Joana, or any other woman (LoC, Ch. 40).
