General

Maerion was a name that Birgitte Silverbow was known by in one of her past lives (TFoH, Ch. 36).

While Birgitte, Elayne and Nynaeve are traveling with Valan Luca's Circus, Birgitte goes by the name of Maerion (TFoH, Ch. 36).

Birgitte tells Elayne that she does not know if she can live up to being "Birgitte", a woman of legend, in the real world; in all of her other lives, she just did what she had to do, and it was enough for Maerion, or Joana, or any other woman (LoC, Ch. 40).
