Nan Belman is an Andoran Darkfriend that Padan Fain stays with when in hiding. She believes Fain to stand high in the Darkfriend councils. Until Fain arrived, she thought of her oaths as just dabbling in wickedness. He considers her a handsome woman and takes her to his bed to take his mind off Rand and decides he will have to hurt her when she struggles.
She has a son, Perwyn.
