Nesaline was the Queen of [[Caembarin]] during the time of [[Artur Hawkwing]]. Along with First Counselor [[Almindhra]] of [[Tova]] and King [[Tefan]] of [[Khodomar]], in the summer of FY 943, Nesaline moved her armies into [[Shandalle]] against Hawkwing. The reasons why they did this were unclear but some sources speculate that it was due to fear of a man who would not submit to [[The White Tower|White Tower]] law and who refused an audience with [[Bonwhin]], the [[Amyrlin Seat]]. Hawkwing fought back and by the end of FY 943 he had conquered half of Tova, as well as large parts of Caembarin and Khodomar.
