Novice Drinks

The Top-10 Novice-Friendly Drinks: By Ark'chios Davien

1. The Red Hot Novice

4 fluid ounces tomato juice

1/2 fluid ounce lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional...)

1 dash Tabasco sauce (also optional... for those who are less hot...)

celery salt -- to taste

salt -- to taste

pepper -- to taste

1 celery stalk

1 lime slice

cracked ice

ice cubes

Combine all ingrediants and garnish with celery stalk and wedge of lime.

2. The Blushing Novice

4 cups strawberries -- 1 pint

1/2 cup heavy cream -- 1/2 pint

1/2 cup Ginger ale

3 tablespoons honey

6 ice cubes

Blend in a blender... or ask an Aes Sedai to crush with the Power

3. The Novice

4 cups carbonated water, chilled

4 cups ginger ale

3 cups unsweetened white grape juice

Chill, combine and serve

4. The True Source Shimmer

1 oz. Orange Juice

1 oz. Pineapple Juice

1 oz. Grape Juice

1 oz. Grapefruit Juice

Top with a fizzy cola

5. The Frisky Novice

1 cup Cran-apple juice

1 tsp. Instant tea

Combine and serve with a lemon wedge

6. The Dark One's Touch

1 shot of Grenadine

Top it off with Coke or Pepsi

7. Dirty Laundry

1/3 cup of coconut cream

1/2 cup milk

1 tbsp. chocolate syrup

1.5 cups of chocolate or vanilla icecream

Blend and drink whilst doing your chores

8. The Minty Fresh Warder

1 cup of non-alcoholic sparkling wine or white grape juice

1 cup of mint-infused water

Combine and garnish with a sprig of mint

9. Gleeman's Glee

8 ounces chilled orange juice

3/4 ounce grenadine syrup

Combine and add shaved ice

10. The "shirly you jest!" Novice (my own recipe)

2 shots Orange Juice

1 shot bubbly water (without it the drink will be very sweet)

1/2 shot Grenadine

Top off with sprite

And for the Aes Sedai ...

The Shirly Temptress (my own recipe, of course I only drink it on free- days )

1/2 shot of vodka

1/2 shot of Cointreau

1 shot of Orange juice

1/2 of Grenadine

Top off with Sprite
