Toke Fearnim is a horse trader from Jurador, Altara. He is wiry with only a fringe of gray hair remaining and two old scars on his leathery face.
Master Fearnim employs Adela and Hurd for tending the horses he lends or sells to people. He has a mare and two geldings to sell when Mat comes by. Mat is interested in the mare, a razor, but is shocked to learn that Master Fearnim means to sell her for ten gold crowns. After a thorough check on the mare and some bargaining, Mat buys her for a little more than half that.
