Trolloc Monument

The Trolloc Monument is a gray spire, a hundred spans high, found in one of the worlds that can be visited through a Portal Stone. It is topped with a carving of a raven, wings outstretched and is broad enough to seem almost squat. It is carved with Trolloc script and symbols, and near the bottom there is hawk, laying on its back, pierced by a lightning bolt, with ravens pecking at its eyes. It is the equivalent of monument in the primary world built to commemorate Artur Hawkwing's victory over the Trollocs, which had been torn down after his death. Rand and Loial reason that in this world, the Trollocs won the battle and overran it, killing all animal life.
