- What is your Tower name?
Velaris Ly'enn
- When were you raised to Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah?
I was raised in June of 2006.
- Why did you choose Gray?
The Grays are always so much fun and so welcoming! I was told so many times that I was Green (and some people still do :p) and I had a hard time deciding as a Novice. I didn't have the opportunity to guest back then so I didn't get to guest with the Greens. In the end the Grays were the best fit for me! I love all of my Gray sisters dearly and I don't know what I would've done the past nearly 5 years without them.
- Are you like the Grays in the Books?
Not really. I can be diplomatic when I need to though. :p
- Do you love politics and do you like to discuss a lot?
I'm not into politics or discussing them.
- How was your time as Citizen/Novice/Accepted?
My time as citizen was so awesome! I had my first sister, Miridyth, with me during that time and we had a lot of fun. We were the ones that started the "WAS" table in the tavern and had a blast in real life as wenches!
My time as Novice was another amazing time here. They made Miridy and I roommates and we caused all kinds of havoc.
Being an Accepted wasn't like it is now. We didn't have guesting.
- How long have you been a member of TV.net?
It will be 5 years in June! Wow...time flies when you're having fun. ;)
- What things do you do for TV.net?
Currently, I'm Head of the Gray Ajah. I really enjoy taking care of all of my Gray sisters, aspirants and guests.
- How did you get to read the Series?
My husband, Thalin, got me into the books. I'm so happy that he did!
- To whom are you bonded, if you're bonded?

- Who is your mentee, if you have one?
Mashiara al'Kama, aspirant of the Green Ajah!
- Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
Moiraine is my favorite character.
Nation would have to be Camlyn.
- Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
I have been to Dcon in 2006. Where Miridyth and I became first sisters! I went to Anni 2010 and it was amazing! I got to meet new people and see some of my closest Tower peeps. :) The ceremonies were the best I've had the opportunity to attend, beside Dcon 2009 where my someone very important to me, was raised and bonded! ;) I think the real life functions are the best part of the Tower! Once you meet some in person, you start to "hear" their posts differently. We have such a blast when we are together and tend to get very little sleep. :p
- What kind of music do you like?
I listen to Renaissance, country and rock/metal.
- What job do you have?
I work with the developmentally disabled. It's a very rewarding job and can be fun when you work with the right people!
- Do you have a pet?
No pets...just kids. :p
- What languages do you speak?
I only speak English. Never did take any foreign languages class.
- What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a teacher.

Depends on my mood. I do love to party with some Tower folks! Otherwise, I tend to be at home.
- A short bio about yourself.
I'm married to the most wonderful husband in the world, Thalin! I have two kids, Jacob who is 11 yo and Lexi who is 15 yo. I'm pretty busy most of the time these days. I got back into college and work part-time. Any spare moment is usually taken up with TarValon.net and my family.
