Verine was an Accepted of the White Tower. She was a pale young woman.

Verine was watching the storeroom in the Tower where dangerous items were kept when Padan Fain stole the ruby dagger that Mat had previously removed from Shadar Logoth. She realised that someone was in the storeroom because there was a weave set on the lock and went to investigate. Fain cut her with the dagger and she died.
