==General==

Alwyn al'Van is the cobbler in [[Emond's Field]]. He made the boots that [[Rand]] wore out of [[the Two Rivers]]. When the ''[[Shatayan (Wheel of Time)|Shatayan]]'' of [[Fal Dara]] insists that Rand throw all his old clothes out and get new ones, [[Rand]] thinks to himself that his boots that Alwyn made are still good, well broken in and comfortable.
