She is tall and slender, with dark skin and black hair which she wears in two braids falling down on each side of her face. She wears a lot of jewelry, so it might be possible that she is a merchant or of a wealthier family. 

==Timeline==
===Season 1===
Danya is sitting with {{TVname|Rand al'Thor|Rand}}, {{TVname|Perrin Aybara|Perrin}}, and {{TVname|Matrim Cauthon|Mat}} and plays dice with them at the [[Winespring Inn]]. Mat's throw loses and Danya wins his money.  

Later Mat is seen with one of her bracelets, most likely stolen.

In the evening of Wintersnight when {{TVname|Moiraine Damodred|Moiraine}} arrives in the village, Danya and Mat are seen to converse.
