==General==

Malin din Toral Breaking Wave is the Wavemistress of Clan Somarin and Sailmistress of the ''[[Windrunner]]''. She is a grave-faced woman with heavily gray-streaked hair and five small fat gold rings in each ear as well as a nose ring connected to a thin chain with many tiny medallions marking her rank.

She receives [[Nynaeve]], [[Elayne]] and [[Aviendha]] on ''Windrunner'' and takes them to the [[Mistress of the Ships]]' office.

She is very excited about the [[Bowl of the Winds]] reappearance.

When Elayne and Nynaeve bargain with [[Nesta]], she talks to [[Birgitte]] and Aviendha. Because of an oath that Birgitte uses, Malin believes she must have lived among the [[Sea Folk]].
