[[Mat]] stops there on his way out of the city after killing a footpad ({{tdr|30}}). [[Thom]] is performing in the inn, reciting [[Mara and the Three Foolish Kings]]. Mat orders and eat three chickens, still hungry from the [[Heal]]ing. They leave after Thom agrees to go to [[Caemlyn]] with Mat.
