General
Serancha Colvine is the Head Clerk of the Gray Ajah. She sided with the White Tower Aes Sedai when the Tower split (CoT, Prologue).
Serancha has a pinched mouth and a pinched nose. She has pale blue eyes and could almost be considered pretty (KoD, Ch. 24).
Miscellaneous
- Seaine and Pevara once dusted Serancha's shift with itchcloak (ACoS, Ch. 32).
- Pevara believes that Serancha is a prig (ACoS, Ch. 32).
- Serancha picked Andaya to become the new Gray Sitter after the Tower split (CoT, Prologue).
- Serancha gave Egwene a lesson after she was captured. She was so outraged with Egwene's behaviour that she wrote a letter to Silviana detailing all of Egwene's faults; it covered four pages (KoD, Ch. 24).
Quotes
"Head Clerk: The title given to the head of the Gray Ajah. This position is currently held by Serancha Colvine, a woman of reputedly fastidious behaviour, in the Tower." (Crossroads of Twilight, Glossary).
"The word to describe the Gray sister was "pinched." A pinched mouth, and a pinched nose that constantly seemed to be detecting a bad smell." Egwene (Knife of Dreams, Chapter 23).
