General

Shemari is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah and a librarian. She is aligned with the rebels. She is vigorous with a square face and looks more like a Green than a Brown. She is not strong enough to weave a gateway herself, but when she is linked with someone else she can manage one big enough to walk through.

She taught Egwene as a novice and her behavior is always beyond proper. She curtsies to the young Amyrlin deep enough to suit a novice and was known to curtsy even when she saw Egwene a hundred paces away.

When Egwene sees her and Phaedrine come from the Traveling ground, she wonders where they have been. She thinks they might have gone to hear some news from their eyes-and-ears or look at a book in some library.
