This Department handles all of the official real life events in the Tower calendar. It is currently headed by Ahmyra al'Ruley.

Dragon*Con was an official conference until they discontinued the Wheel of Time track in 2012.
History

In May 2009, the Department of Events and Conferences was officially created with Serinia Edoras taking the lead as its first Director. After the creation of the Department, its membership has grown to relieve the stress of several events each year.
Positions

The Department now contains 1 Executive, 1 Administrator, and 1 permanent staff who oversee 4 real life events each year.
Every event is supported by various committees and local liaisons who assist the departmental teams till their event is fulfilled and provide much needed support.
