Farran is a soldier under the command of Dain Bornhald. He is a bearded "boulder of a man" who is light on his feet (TSR, Ch. 1). His rank is "hundredman."
He is part of a legion of Children under the command of Dain Bornhald when they enter and leave the Two Rivers (TSR, Ch. 31; TSR, Ch. 56).
