The Kin

Points of view: Reanne, Nynaeve

Reanne's point of view

Reanne watches the girls leave and Berowin notes that they did not perspire. Reanne is certain that they were not Aes Sedai since Aes Sedai would somehow have gotten the better of them. Sarainya arrives and tells them that Callie, a Wise woman, had been killed with the Power. Reanne suspects Elayne and Nynaeve.



Nynaeve's point of view

Returning to the palace, the girls discuss why the Kin do not have the ageless look and wonder how old Reanne must be if she looks fifty to sixty. They are attacked and Elayne is knocked unconscious. A man and woman appear and offer to help, but Nynaeve does not trust them. She channels to force them to leave. She Heals Elayne and they decide to go back to the palace. They abandon plans to use the Kin.
