Elayne and Nynaeve meet the Kin.
Summary
Nynaeve explains to Elayne that women who can channel would know of any cache of ter'angreal, though Elayne says any such group would have been shut down by the Tower. They are taken to a house and can feel women channeling inside the place. Reanne is angry with Setalle for bringing them, but both Reanne and Setalle apologize to each other. Nynaeve is shocked that Reanne is strong in the Power. More women who can channel arrive and Elayne begins to accept that there is a guild. They are shielded and questioned until Reanne accepts they went to the Tower, but not that they are Aes Sedai. After continuing to insist that they are, the women tell them that they cannot help and they should leave the town.
