Perrin and Aram are feeling uncomfortable because of the naked, female gai'shain, who are being sent to ask them frivolous questions. He realises they are only bothering the people who are uncomfortable and forces himself to talk to one directly. Aram worries about the captive Aes Sedai, thinking they are dangerous, and suggests it would be better if they were dead. Perrin forbids any further talk on the subject, but overhears other Two Rivers men talking around it. He decides he has to go and see Rand.
