Mindtrap

Characters: Shaidar Haran, Moridin, Moghedien

Setting: Shayol Ghul

Point of view: Moghedien

Moghedien dreams, remembering Halima freeing her and Skimming to Shayol Ghul. She remembers a conversation with the Dark One and a meeting with Shaidar Haran who was able to cut her off from the source and had put her in a mindtrap. She wakes and sees Shaidar Haran, telling him of her eagerness to obey. After closing her eyes briefly, she opens them to see a young man, calling himself Moridin. Though the name does not impress her, she sees the saa in his eyes, showing he is allowed to touch the True Power, which does impress her a little. She starts to lecture him about how honored he is and to order him which causes him to reprimand her. She threatens him, until he sees he holds her mindtrap along with possibly a second and realizes he owns her.
