General
Akoure Vayet is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah who sides with Elaida when the White Tower splits (WH, Prologue).
She is described as being "stout" (WH, Prologue).
Akoure is among the Aes Sedai sent by Elaida to the Black Tower. Like the others, she is captured by the Asha'man. When Toveine walks through the hallway of the dormitory where the captured Aes Sedai are staying, she notices that Akoure is not meeting anyone's eyes, and that she is staring at the hand on which she normally wears her ring (WH, Prologue).
Yukiri asks Pevara if the Red Ajah has heard from any of the Aes Sedai who were sent to the Black Tower with Toveine Gazal. Pevara replies that they have heard from Toveine herself, and Yukiri tells her that the Gray Ajah has heard from Akoure (KoD, Prologue).
