General
Andere is a Malkieri who was sworn to a Kandori lord (NS, Ch. 20). When Lan rides across the Borderlands, joins Lan in Saldaea with Nazar and Rakim. Lan had not seen him in many years. He is a lean, dangerous looking man who wears the Hadori (ToM, Ch. 7). Initially Lan tells him not to join, but relents when Andere refuses to go away. When Rand readies himself for the charge at Tarwin's Gap, Andere rides on his left.
