Annharid is an Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah who sides with the Salidar Aes Sedai when the White Tower splits. She is one of the Aes Sedai sent to the White Tower to spread the rumor about Logain and the Red Ajah (CoT, Prologue).

When Seaine and Pevara find out about the Aes Sedai from Salidar, all of the "ferrets" are made to swear an oath to obey Seaine and Pevara, as well as Doesine, Saerin, and Yukiri (WH, Prologue). Annharid and Celestin, both Yellow, are set the task of finding out who is close friends with Atuan, a Black/Yellow sister (CoT, Prologue).

When Beonin goes to see Elaida in the White Tower, she tells her that there are ten rebels in the Tower spreading the rumors about Logain and the Red Ajah. Instead of having them arrested, Elaida tells Tarna to have them closely watched (KoD, Ch. 2).

As a prisoner in the Tower, Egwene wishes she could contact the ten rebel ferrets, but she doesn't know their faces and does not want to draw attention to them. When Egwene learns that Beonin betrayed the ferrets to Elaida, she orders Beonin to warn them. They are to stay away from Egwene so as not to raise suspicion. She also tells Beonin to have the ferrets bring topics such as Shemerin's demotion, the disaster at the Black Tower, and the disaster at Dumai's Wells up in conversation with other Aes Sedai (KoD, Ch. 24).
