This position is a staff position within the Department of Community Development in the General Services Area. Its purpose is first and foremost designed to foster and nurture the creative community at TarValon.net, as such it moderates and encourages constructive discussion in the Creative Endeavors forum. This position will also manage and administrate the TarValon.net Museum of Art. This person will also help the administration fill visual art and graphic needs, i.e. logos for our real life events, graphics for online events, etc. This person will also help to get this graphic work up onto t-shirts, etc. in our cafépress store as well as help Ajahs/Companies generate products for the store. A new duty and perhaps the most important is that the Curator will seek out and communicate with artists throughout the Wheel of Time Community at large and encourage them to become members of TarValon.net as well as offer them services to encourage them to remain active.

As you can see, it is a very important position to TarValon.net’s community and requires a dedicated, excited and creative person. They should also have a clear understanding of the community as well as knowledge of artistic principles and fundamentals. You do not have to be an artist but you should be simply educated in the visual arts.
